School Uniforms

All students at Spring Lake Elementary are required to wear school uniforms. Uniforms are a simple, sensible way to increase pride in our school and increase concentration on classroom activities.

Uniform Description:
Tops: Red, White or Blue Shirts with Sleeves and Collars
Bottoms: Khaki or Navy Pants, Shorts, Jumpers or Skorts.
No Jeans. 

Important Announcements

  • Family Engagement Month is celebrated during the month of November to highlight the roles parents and families have in their children’s education. During the month, parents, grandparents, guardians and extended families are encouraged to be involved in their children’s education throughout the year.   • Snapshot and Five Essentials Surveys - The Snapshot and Five Essentials Survey beginning January 23rd through February 23rd, 2018 for parents, students in Grades 4-12 and school staff will showcase what makes our school unique and will be used to develop a new more transparent school report card that will be called the Snapshot Report. Your input and comments are important and will play a key role in spotlighting innovation and student achievements. Participation in the surveys are kept confidential and will never be connected to you or your child.
  • Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) - We are committed to providing high-quality instruction and support to promote the highest achievement of all students. We use a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) as a framework to maximize the success of all students.   • Magnet Middle School Choice Application Period - The 2018-2019 Magnet Middle School Choice Application period is October 1 through December 1.
